Fluid Sculpture; Lucy Symons Collection

Fluid Sculpture; A Collection by Lucy Symons
Models; Victoria @ Gingersnap + Annabel @ Room 3 Agency
Make up by Brodie Kate & Scarlett Jones
Photo Assistant; Mike Sharpe

I had the pleasure of shooting for Lucy again on this fabulous collection which she designed + made herself, which completely astounded me with such gorgeous texture, colour and tailoring.
Lucy is a wonderful girl who completely lives and breathes fashion and is so talented, not to mention a total sweetheart. It was so lovely to collaborate with so many talented ladies and have such a lovely afternoon shooting with plenty of tea to hand!

Boutique 33 Spring Summer '12

A few months back along with a lovely creative team we shot the Spring Summer Lookbook for Boutique 33 - a boutique in Clifton, Bristol that's had a beautiful make over by owner Naomi.

I was incredibly inspired by Clifton Village where the Boutique is located and I really wanted the images to stick out that Clifton was where it was photographed - if you're a local, you'll certainly recognise landmarks!

Bristol Fashion Week SS'12

I love this time of year where we forget about the dark Winter days and embrace Spring/Summer with full force! I joined the lovely Gina Dyer at BFW this time, shooting some Street Style for the first BFW Bloggers Event at The Mall Cribbs Causeway - it was so lovely to see lots of gorgeously dressed pretty ladies!

We had the loveliest cakes and pink fizz before heading though to the show, where the lovely Gina bagged best seat in the house; end of the Runway, in the centre!

So Mark Heyes & Andrew Barton hosted the show, which was wonderful. I really loved the theatrical aspect to the shows, it was visually stunning with projections behind the Model's really giving you a feel for each scene.

I'm a very visual person so for me, it was wonderful! It was incredibly difficult to keep up with the ever changing lights but I like a challenge, and it worked incredibly well for the show!

Many thanks for the lovely girls who let me take their photo, and a huge thank you to Gina for letting me come along, and The Mall Cribbs Causeway for hosting the event.

To end, a very cheery summery photo of me & my lovely Assistant for the day, Rach before the show started!

Editorial; Midnight Colour

As we head towards Spring I thought I'd blog a bit of Colour!

I had a wonderful team for my Midnight Colour Editorial; Sarah S of Mustard Models (and Winner of Bristol's Next Top Model!) Make up by Elle Hitchens & Hair by Amy Harding.

We shot in the centre of Bristol getting quite a few looks and most people stopping to have a little nose, bless Sarah as it was utterly freezing but she did a sterling job!

Last Nights Victory.

My first shoot of 2012 was with the lovely lads in Last Nights Victory. I headed up to Cheltenham to shoot them live in early December and I have to say; it was pretty awesome. The guys are so passionate about what they do, & damn good at it. I also loved watching the guys play, hear their music live before even sitting down and talking about promos - I got to know them on a basis of what they musically are about above anything.

Joe, drummer has a lovely vintage Ford Cortina which is pretty much his baby. The car is utterly gorgeous & I was even treated to a ride in it to the location!

There's something so stylish but simple about that car! Even though it was clear, January sunlight is kinda sparse so it really makes everything pop. Joe also kindly said I can use the car in future, which I am SO excited for!

Be sure to check the guy's music out over on Facebook & give them a like!
